Gaura Mandala Parikrama

Gaura Mandala Parikrama

Announcement:

All Glories to Sri Guru and Sri Gauranga.

All Glories to Gaura-Mandala Parikrama.

Respected Devotees,
Daṇḍavat Praṇāmas,

In 1925, Srila Prabhupada Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Goswami Thakur undertook the first Gauḍa Maṇḍala Parikrama, leading a large group of devotees from Bhaktivinoda Asana, 1 Ultadanga Junction, Calcutta. During this parikramā, he visited all the holy places associated with the eternal associates of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu. Srila Prabhupada performed kīrtana at each sacred site, delivered harikathā, and engaged in devotional activities with the devotees. Śrīpāda Praṇavānanda Prabhu (later known as Śrīla Bhakti Pramode Purī Gosvāmī Mahārāja) also participated in this parikramā alongside Śrīla Prabhupāda and many other devotees.

Inspired by Śrīla Prabhupāda and his spiritual master, Śrīla Bhakti Pramode Purī Gosvāmī Mahārāja, the present ācārya of Śrī Gopīnātha Gauḍīya Maṭha, Śrīla Bhakti Bibudha Bodhāyan Gosvāmī Mahārāja, is organizing a 9-day Gauḍa Maṇḍala Parikramā by bus exactly 100 years later. This remarkable initiative aims to visit the same sacred places, allowing devotees to engage in kīrtana, hear harikathā, and participate in devotional activities under the guidance of Śrīla Mahārāja.

Carefully planned over the past year, this parikramā is now coming to fruition through the dedicated efforts of Śrīla Mahārāja and the devotees of Śrī Gopīnātha Gauḍīya Maṭha. We cordially invite devotees to join this spiritual journey and relish the divine association of Śrīla Bhakti Bibudha Bodhāyan Gosvāmī Mahārāja. Registration for the event closes on February 28, 2025. Please ensure you register in time and become a part of this blessed parikramā. Details of the program are provided below.
